Tried growing these in a container. I’ve already pulled them out. Even with trimming and fertilizing they just got thin and scraggly. Had better luck with the new Tiara petunias. Going with the new Tiaras next year.

Second year with Saffron Finch, second year of abysmal petunias. We are extremely familiar with supertunias and proven winners products .. this colour is not hardy at all and the leaves wither and go brown every year. Will not purchase Saffron Finch again. Grew 7,000 plants and this is the only one we have issues with.

I bought 4 of these from a local nursery and half have died. I had three on a scheduled drip water hose and one in a pot. Two in the ground didn’t make it. The first one that died only lived a few weeks. (Planted April 30th) The second one I noticed a decline in early July and removed it. I exclusively use proven winners petunias for years so I’m not an amateur. This new line of petunia needs more work and I wouldn’t purchase again until they come out with an IMPROVED version. The remaining plants have not grown like crazy like all my others, but have remained somewhat small. The color is beautiful, I hope they can work out the kinks.

Ordered this plant via Proven Winners in the fall for Spring planting. Received, planted, watered and fertilized. Unfortunately, after flowering the Deer ate all 7 plants, even pulling them out of the ground. I called Proven Winners, and relayed my story thinking they would replace those plants as they were advertised as Deer Resistant. No such luck, they quickly told me that DR was not a guarantee and made no attempt to replace my plants. This was my third year of ordering online from them, I like PW, mainly from watching Garden Answer. I thought they would back their advertisement up, sorely not. I won’t be ordering anything else from them, or purchasing their product from the big box stores either.

This yellow is the best PW YELLOW yet. Reminds me of the yellow in lemon slice, but more intense. Utterly cheerful and dazzling. Great growth pattern for the pots they’re in, very long lasting blooms, have tolerated MI crazy springtime temperatures and generally just make me SMILE.
