Truffula^™ Pink Globe Amaranth Gomphrena pulchella

I LOVE this plant. I bought two this year just to try it. I planted between two Proud Berries for added color. We are in NW Ohio and have had two freezes already (its Oct 27th) and this plant still looks great! I am definitely buying more next year. I’m going to try it in zone 10 this winter. Thanks PW!

This is our first year growing this plant. It is holding up nicely to the 90* full sun heat here in the Florida panhandle. It’s in a container and has filled out beautifully. Watering a couple times a week. We are in zone 9a and plan to cut back the plant as suggested by Carol from California to find it to be a perennial. This really is a very pretty plant. ☺️

Amazing plant! Planted in a front yard bed this year and grew wonderfully. This is my second year growing this and it has not disappointed yet. Last year we planted in a container and had fantastic results. This will be something we plant every year.

One month after planting and it is doing great, the color and structure are so beautiful! I have it in a smaller pot, so after reading some of the reviews that talk about how big it can get, I'm curious if the smaller pot will translate to a smaller plant. Will definitely buy this one again!

This is my third summer attempting to grow this plant. I love it when it's in bloom, but I've needed to go away on short business trips, and each time I come back, the plant is wilted, even after a deep watering and additional mulch at the base before leaving. So I'm 99.99% sure that it is NOT drought tolerant. Sad to say, I will not be buying this plant again; at $7.50 a pop x 2 = $15 lost out of my pocket each summer.
