Fluffy^® Western Arborvitae Thuja plicata

I purchased two last year via mail order from a reputable nursery. Thus, they were smaller then if I purchased them at a local place. I purchase most of my plants/shrubs/roses via mail order from two different greenhouses because I can’t find certain plants at the local big box stores and I find those stores do not care for the plants like the nurseries I order through. I planted both in the same area, one died but the other is doing good. It’s not growing as fast as I had hoped but it’s definitely grown. I think it’s due to the location. I have a hard time with plants on the South side of my house due to amount of Sun and soil conditions. I have been working to improve the soil but it’s not an easy task due to the amount of rock in the area. I have dug up and removed so many rocks that I have used to make multiple retaining walls. It’s a lot of work but worth it in the end. I like the color and look of this evergreen and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an evergreen that grows in a pyramid shape and isn’t the typical green ones you see. This one has characteristics that are eye catching.

Purchased two of these in 1 gallon pots. They arrived TINY! They didn't really even have root balls, just looked like they cut a sprig off a full grown tree and stuck it in a pot. Pretty disappointed
