    Features

Introducing Shimmering Falls Sage & Cream, a low maintenance classic, perfect for adding a touch of elegance into any space! This Scindapsus boasts thick, heart-shaped leaves of rich green, lined with fine, silvery edges, and sprinkled with splotches of variegation in sparkling shades of sage and cream. One look at its silky-smooth leaves, and you’ll be able to surmise why these plants are sometimes called “Satin Pothos”. Your Shimmering Falls can be taken care of in much the same way you would care for a pothos, as well! Provide medium to bright, indirect light, water when the top 1-2 inches of soil dries out, and fertilize occasionally, and your Scindapsus will send out vines of shimmering, falling leaves.

    Maintenance Notes:
    • For optimal performance, keep your Scindapsus at 60-85°F (15-29°C).
    • Scindapsus prefers to grow in medium to bright, indirect light, such as near an east- or north-facing window. They can adapt to growing in lower light, however, growth will be slower. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight as it may lead to scorching.
    • Scindapsus has a vining habit, and should be allowed to trail or be supported with a moss pole or trellis. Don’t be afraid to trim back any leggy or damaged vines to encourage fuller growth.
    • Scindapsus prefers to dry out in between waterings. As such, water your Scindapsus thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry.
    • Feed your Scindapsus once per month at half strength when it is actively growing. Reduce frequency of fertilization in the winter months. If no new leaves are growing, it does not need to be fertilized.
    • Protect furniture when watering & fertilizing.
    • When repotting your Scindapsus, use an all-purpose potting mix, with perlite added to ensure good drainage.
