Blushing Princess^® Sweet Alyssum Lobularia hybrid

I ordered this plant on line 2019. The box got too hot and I wasn't sure the plant would make it. It was mostly flowers, few yellow leaves. The flowers dropped off the wilted plant. It survived. In zone 9b it prefers the cooler weather. It was not memorable until this winter. It bloomed all winter in ground in a one x two foot ball. Temperatures are just barely 70/50 this spring and it is powering up. The new flowers are white and they age to the blush lavender making it sparkle. I highly recommend this plant but ordering it online is risky. Dark knight was in the same box last year and didn't make it. So I ordered again early 2020 and it arrived with yellow leaves? Some of the PW plants aren't good at leaves and just want to flower, go figure. But I need good green leaves to start. We barely got two frosts this last winter. Our valley summer temperatures are 100+ several days running. I use inline emitter drip hose on an automatic system.

This alyssum held up well in our summer heat (90s for days on end) and then really hit its prime in fall as the weather cooled. The color actually deepened as the temperatures dipped, and my plants were still in full bloom into early December -- after several solid frosts. Every bit as good as 'Snow Princess' and in a nice, rich, lavender shade.
