Brimming with color, Tuff Stuff Top Fun hydrangea’s bold lacecap blooms are supported by bright burgundy stems. Each flower is filled with cheery green fertile florets at the center and purple or pink infertile florets around the edges. So inviting to pollinators and quite a lovely cut for florists. And these flowers just keep coming all summer long, first on old wood and later on new wood.

Tuff Stuff hydrangeas should not be pruned except to remove any dead wood in spring, after the new growth begins to emerge on the stems. Older plants can have their oldest stems thinned periodically.
Flower color will vary depending on soil. In acidic soils with abundant aluminum (a naturally occurring soil mineral), color will tend more to purple-blue. In alkaline soil or those lacking in aluminum, flowers will be a deep pink.

The reason why I give 3 stars is because this hydrangea can’t take too much sun even in the morning.I planted on the side of my house and the leaves got crunchy. It wasn’t even 10am. So I have to move it to a different location , i don’t know if is gonna bloom because now it gets less sun is mostly on the shade but the plant is putting new grow. I got the quart size and it was trimmed, I like how healthy it looks but can’t not take more than 3 hours of morning sun here on my zone 9b. I would update about blooming

Beautiful plant! Small footprint with many flowers the entire summer! Can't wait to see it bloom again this year.
